Who are we? Mermaid Cove is a privately-owned holiday cottage business. We arrange the booking and provision of holiday rental accommodation. What information do we collect? The Owner collects information about you as part of the business process and functions. The information includes your name, address, telephone number and email address. And to enable refunds of damage deposits, bank account details are required.
What do we use the information for? The Owner collects information about you to:
• Process the booking
• Communicate throughout the process of booking and managing your holiday experience
• Carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and the Owner
• Notify of any changes to our services
Who do we share your information with? The Owner may pass on your details to individuals such as key holders/cleaners/maintenance personnel only as part of the business process and functions. This is so that your holiday booking may be managed and provided. We keep your information securely and do not share it with third parties other than outlined in this statement or where permitted by law.
How do we treat your information? All details you give to the Owner at any time will be kept for the period of your booking, holiday and such reasonable period thereafter in relation to your damage deposit. We keep your information securely and do not share this with third parties other than as set out in this statement. The companies and third parties (owner/key holders) to whom we disclose customer details may contact you.
